Edexcel GCSE Biology Past Papers

Edexcel GCSE Biology (1BI0) is a two-paper 9–1 qualification offered by Pearson, sat each summer by around 20% of separate-science GCSE Biology candidates in England. Students take Paper 1 and Paper 2, each 1 hour 45 minutes, at Foundation tier (grades 1–5) or Higher tier (grades 4–9), for a total of 200 marks. The specification covers key concepts in biology, cells and control, genetics, natural selection and genetic modification, health and disease, plant structures and their functions, animal coordination and homeostasis, exchange and transport, and ecosystems.
