AQA GCSE Chemistry Past Papers
AQA GCSE Chemistry (8462) is the most-sat GCSE Chemistry qualification in England, taken by roughly 45% of separate-science Chemistry candidates each year. Students sit two 1 hour 45 minute papers at Foundation tier (grades 1–5) or Higher tier (grades 4–9), each worth 100 marks. The course covers 10 topics: atomic structure, bonding, quantitative chemistry, chemical changes, energy changes, rates and extent of chemical change, organic chemistry, chemical analysis, chemistry of the atmosphere, and using resources.
