OCR Gateway GCSE Chemistry Past Papers
OCR Gateway GCSE Chemistry (J248) is OCR's flagship GCSE Chemistry specification, following the concept-led Gateway framework introduced in 2016. Students sit two 1 hour 45 minute papers at Foundation tier (Papers 1 and 2, grades 1–5) or Higher tier (Papers 3 and 4, grades 4–9), each worth 90 marks for a total of 180. Topics cover particles, elements and compounds, chemical reactions, predicting and identifying reactions and products, monitoring chemical reactions, and global challenges.
